Career coaching is a personalised approach to career development.  It's more than just resume writing and interview prep.  A skilled coach will help you identify your strengths and weaknesses, define your goals, and create a plan to achieve them. We can also help you navigate challenging career transitions and develop the skills and confidence needed to thrive in your chosen field. 

Many career coaches have backgrounds in psychology or HR, which are great general fields, but they often lack an in-depth understanding of the clinical research industry. My 15 years of experience in the industry at large CRO and Pharmaceutical companies give me unique insight into the specific challenges and opportunities in this field. I know what it takes to break in and thrive, and I can help you confidently navigate the industry's intricacies. 

I hold a Master's in Business Administration and a Master's in Public Health from Benedictine University in Chicago, Illinois. My medical background includes nine years as an EMT on a 911 ambulance in Colorado.  I also bring over 15 years of experience in the clinical research industry as a study coordinator, CRA, and clinical operations manager. 

A career coach is a dedicated guide, helping you hone your skills, refine your resume and cover letter, and master interview techniques. We can also help you build your network, develop a solid personal brand, and overcome career obstacles. Ultimately, a career coach can reduce stress, boost your confidence, and equip you to make strategic career decisions. 

Each coaching session is tailored to your individual needs.  You’ll first receive a form to complete to provide background on your situation and goals.  From there, we'll work together using a coaching approach based on Sir John Whitmore's GROW model. Each session typically lasts 50 minutes.   Some clients require more instruction, training, or advice, while others prefer a more traditional coaching style.  I adapt my approach to fit your unique needs.

Some clients seek support for a specific problem, which we typically address in 2-3 sessions.  Others prefer regular coaching sessions for ongoing career development and guidance.

I offer virtual coaching sessions via Zoom, allowing me to work with clients worldwide.
